# When does the winning real estate agent get their new listing?

## The winning real estate agent gets the new property listing after signing a listing agreement with the home seller.

Following the selection of a real estate agent's proposal by a home seller, the agent will promptly receive email and text notifications. Subsequently, a face-to-face meeting between the home seller and chosen agent will take place for a thorough property walkthrough and a formal listing presentation. Should both parties find agreement and decide to proceed, they will sign a listing agreement, granting the winning agent the official right to represent the property listing. This pivotal step solidifies the agent's role in the sale process and marks the beginning of their representation journey for the property.
